In the field of UX research, we are all used to talking about usability testing, interviews, observations, surveys and many other methods we use to understand people’s behaviors, needs and positive/negative experiences. But when the conversation turns to numbers, it gets complicated: sample; measurement scales; calculation and comparison of measures; relevance of issues.
To help us shed some light on these topics, we have invited Jeff Sauro, one of the leading international experts in the quantitative approach to user experience, to take the stage. Jeff will take us on an insightful journey designed for those who work with users every day, often asking themselves questions such as:
- Am I using the right measure to evaluate my product?
- How do I know how precise my measurements are?
- How many participants do I need to find UX problems or measure the quality of the experience?
- How can I tell if the product is getting better or worse?
- Should I be concerned about bias and other problems when using rating scales?
And many more questions that you can ask directly by participating in person.
