UX Webinar
An Overview of Essential UX Methods
Speakers: Jeff Sauro, PhD, and Jim Lewis, PhD
Event Date: Wednesday, August 31st, 2022
Event Time: 1:00 PM EDT | 10:00 AM PDT
UX research has a variety of methods. This is both an opportunity (different tools for different jobs) and a challenge (learning the method and when best to use it).
Selecting the right UX method means narrowing down the methods to those that will address (1) the primary research goal and (2) the real logistics of the resources needed to implement the method.
That is, the approach involves methodological considerations (what addresses the question best) and logistical considerations (what is realistic given the time and budget).
In this webinar we’ll provide:
- An introduction and overview of a taxonomy of 32 UX methods.
- Where do UX methods come from?
- How to select the right method based on design phase, analysis focus (quant or qual), data collection type and time/money.
