We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The UX researcher will conduct unmoderated and moderated usability tests, deploy surveys and assist with creating test-plans, designing studies, moderating user interviews, analyzing data, and reporting results. You will work side-by-side with other experienced researchers in a fast-paced client environment, where communication, team work, and prioritization are key skills.
Preference will be given to mixed-methods researchers who have industry experience leading UX projects and demonstrate strong data visualization and report creation skills. A background in survey creation and a strong quantitative skillset is preferred. Knowledge of UX design principles and the ability to link research to design recommendations is also a strong asset.
Activities and Responsibilities
Lead Research Studies: Plan and conduct a wide range of research, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing. This requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to partner with stakeholders to meet their needs, detailed note-taking, and comfort with technology. Senior candidates may also lead a team of other researchers.
Analyzing Survey and Usability Data: We’re looking for someone who loves working with and making sense of data. We’re known for generating industry leading reports, analysis, and insights. An analytical or quantitative background is a plus.
Report Creation: Most client projects require a PowerPoint or Google Slides report to share study results. We’re looking for a candidate who can take insights and bring them to life in a concise, appealing, and compelling way. Asides from good story-telling, the ideal candidate will bring experience in relating the findings to UX design recommendations.
Client Interaction: As a client-facing agency, we collaborate closely with clients to achieve their research goals. This role requires clear and professional communication, regular project updates, and strong project management habits to ensure work stays within scope and on schedule. You’ll be expected to lead client conversations with clarity and confidence, set expectations on timelines and scope, and ensure deliverables are polished and decision-ready.

- Excellent writing skills, especially an ability to communicate complex concepts
- Background in User Experience, market research, psychology, statistics, or related fields a plus
- Strong quantitative skills and an analytic/technical propensity a plus
- Experience with an online survey tool (e.g., MUiQ, Qualtrics, UserTesting, UserZoom, Surveymonkey), including making surveys, cleaning data, and analyzing results
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
Education
- A Masters or PhD in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Statistics, or a related field is highly preferred.

This is not a remote position – this is a full-time position in Denver, Colorado. We do have a need for our researchers in-person to conduct moderated sessions and collaborate with peers.
